Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 14 December 2014: - Acer's Aspire Switch 12 gives users the notebook experience they want, when and where they want it, with the unique design allowing for a smooth transition between five versatile modes, perfect for just about any need.
Equipped with a unique kickstand design that features a magnetic and latch-less detachable keyboard, the centerpiece of the Aspire Switch 12 is its ability to easily transition between notebook, pad, display, tent and desktop mode, giving users a 360 degree device capable of fitting seamlessly into everyday life.

For those who seek the portable and lightweight aspects of a mobile device, while also wanting the full keyboard experience for work or play, the Aspire Switch 12's detachable keyboard can function connected or wirelessly and provides full-sized typing comfort along with a pointing stick, for an enhanced navigation experience. Users can also enjoy its 10-point touch controls on a larger screen and use an optional Acer Active Pen1 for a more intuitive writing and drawing experience.
The 12.5-inch Full HD display allows users to see everything from movies, to video chat, to photos clearly, with vivid colors and detail and even in bright sunlight.
For added durability, the Aspire Switch 12's display is built with next generation Corning® Gorilla® Glass – the leading cover glass for advanced devices – and treated with an anti-fingerprint coating that reduces unsightly smudges.
