Ace Interiors Participated in the International Design Exhibition (INDEX 2014)

I.    The Show

This year, Ace Interiors participated for the first time in the International Design Exhibition (INDEX 2014).

The INDEX exhibition is an annual event developed and executed by DMG events. It is a leading international design exhibition in the MENA region. INDEX provides a platform to local and international contractors, vendors and suppliers to showcase their products, services and capabilities to over 40,000 visitors over 4 days.

II.    The Response

Ace Interiors utilized this platform to shock and awe attending trade partners, suppliers, vendors, students and passers-by. Ace exhibited its skills in joinery works, furniture manufacturing, wood-works, painting/finishing, carpet and parquet flooring, and lighting in one single stand that measured merely 15 square meters.

Ace's design for the stand was universally complimented by all viewers and visitors for its stand-out, exotic and high-quality approach. The space utilization received accolades by representatives of DMG events, publication photographers, press executives and even freelance designers.

III.    The Theme

Ace Interior Design's exhibition stand exhibits a design that signifies growth. Where we started 23 years ago as a fledgling carpentry, today we stand as a stalwart design studio and manufacturing facility having executed over 300 projects. Today, we embark on the next level of our journey and INDEX will be the first step to show the world what we have in mind.

IV.    Execution

Ace Interior Design's in-house design team collaborated with international designers to bring what was considered to be the most wild and ‘experimental design in the interior design segment of INDEX. The production and manufacturing team toiled away at completing the complex design in under 10 days including all fixtures, finishing, installations, and electrical work.

The entire team at Ace Interior Design, including interior designers, 3D visualizers, CAD draughstmen, production managers, project managers, estimators, quantity surveyors and procurement and purchase managers took special interest in this fun and challenging in-house project.

Ace Interiors' site installation team worked seamlessly to install the entire stand and complete all finishing works in less than 3 days; setting an example for the other stands in the exhibition. Our efforts did not go unnoticed as we were requested to provide installation services to multiple other stand owners.

V.    The Goal

Ace Interior Design had achieved its goal of gaining market attention within the first 2 days of the event. Visitors were making repeat visits and new inquiries were being fielded every day. Ace Interiors received a tremendous amount of attention from the market; essentially bringing to light the renewed and refreshed approach of the company not just towards its brand but towards its ability to execute with the highest quality, in a timely manner and by taking personal and creative interest in every project.
