UAE (Abu Dhabi, Dubai) – Harley-Davidson Middle East and North Africa (MENA) has announced the opening of a brand new showroom for its iconic motorcycles in Fujairah, UAE, under the auspices of Khalifa Al Masood the owner of the local dealership Abdulla Al Masaood & Sons Motorcycles LLC.
The two day opening ceremony, held on the 27th and 28th of February 2014, saw VIPs and members of the media attend on the first day, with motorcycle aficionados and Harley-Davidson fans flocking in the day after.
Live bands entertained attendees at the grand opening, which drew 150 bikes and 200 attendees over two days. There were activities for children, and a showcase of some of Harley-Davidson’s best selling motorcycles. A celebratory cake was cut and a commemorative plaque put up.
“We are very excited at the launch of our new showroom in Fujairah. Owning a Harley-Davidson is a highly emotional experience, and we wanted to create a destination facility that would combine a day riding out with a brilliant conclusion. We envision our customers riding to us on the lovely roads cutting through the beautiful Hajar Mountains. It is an experience that is vintage Harley-Davidson,” said Steve Beattie, GM of the Harley-Davidson dealership in the UAE, and himself a passionate rider, owner and builder of Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
“We have an aggressive growth plan for the UAE to better serve a growing and very loyal audience. Our long term plan is to have a showroom within a two-hour ride from anywhere in the country,” he added.
The new showroom is located near KM Trading in Moh’d Bin Mattar Road, Fujairah. Abdulla Al Masaood & Sons Motorcycles LLC, operating under the umbrella of Al Masaood Group, is Harley-Davidson’s third fully value added dealership in the UAE.
