Al-Futtaim Motors extends partnership with Abu Dhabi Air Expo as Diamond sponsor

United Arab Emirates, February 24th 2014: As the UAE’s leading automotive company, Al-Futtaim Motors, exclusive distributor of Toyota, Lexus, Hino trucks and Toyota Material Handling in the Emirates, has announced its partnership with the Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2014 for the second consecutive year.
Al-Futtaim Motors’ sponsorship of the Abu Dhabi Air Expo underlines its commitment towards raising the profile of the UAE in general while reinforcing its tangible contribution in Abu Dhabi’s 2030 economic vision.
“Abu Dhabi Air Expo is one of the most strategic events in the UAE and our Diamond sponsorship clearly demonstrates our support to the capital’s initiatives and helps maintain its leadership in the region,” said Jon Williams, Managing Director, Al-Futtaim Motors.
He added: “Abu Dhabi and the western region play a vital role in our business growth, as we will further expand our geographical presence in key areas of the Emirate. We look forward to participating in this event as it offers a great platform for the various brands that we represent.”
Al-Futtaim Motors’ contribution to the aviation business includes luxury and commercial airport taxi fleets, reliable Toyota towing tractors used by various airports in the UAE, in addition to Hino Crew Cab Automatic Light Duty Truck, the first of its kind in the Middle East.
Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2014, which will be held from February 25 to 27, is being organised under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Vice Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
This year, the show is set to welcome over 17,000 visitors with an extensive exhibitor line-up showcasing the latest innovations and development in the aviation sector, relating to non-commercial aircraft, jets, helicopters, equipment, manufacturers, services, pilot training schools, accessories, avionics, insurance and financing.
