DPS Academy organizes interactive sessions

for parents on ‘PARENTING THE 21ST CENTURY CHILD'

DPS Academy organized an interesting and informative interactive session for parents on ‘Parenting the 21st century child', on Saturday, 18th January 2014 at their school premises in Dubai Academic City. The Interactive workshop wasconducted by the Principal, Mrs. Sandhya Awasthi. Specifically meant for the parents of the students who are studying at DPS Academy, the program was well attended by the parents who wanted to make the best use of the session. As part of the program, the parents were involved in activities and games that led to the realization of their own parenting styles.Ms. Sandhyaapprised the parents about the Best Educational Practises in the modern world and at the DPS Academy.

In the second session, the Counsellor, Miss Gayathri Ramakrishna briefed the parents of common signs and symptoms that signal learning and development differences in children. The workshop concluded with a question and answer session. The children were meanwhile constructively engaged in outdoor play activities and gainful activities.
