Dubai, 21 January, 2014 – Al Nabooda Automobiles celebrated the end of 2013 with a bang by breaking its annual Volkswagen sales figures. The exclusive Volkswagen dealer for Dubai and the Northern Emirates reported a 36% increase on cars sold in 2013 and is planning to materialize its investment programme in 2014 with five new facilities opening.
The largest Volkswagen dealer in the Middle East, Al Nabooda Automobiles' 2013 success was helped by the launch of the new Golf GTI, which joined the brand's impressive hatchback category. The Passat was the number one selling Volkswagen of 2013 with an increase in sales of 170% versus the previous year, while both the Jetta and Touareg maintained strong, consistent sales throughout the year.
“We have gained an even more significant share of the market in 2013, largely due to our excellent product range and our focus in high-quality customer service.” said Thierry Seys, Volkswagen General Manager at Al Nabooda Automobiles.
2014 is set to be an exciting year for the Volkswagen division of Al Nabooda Automobiles with three new showrooms and two combined service centers opening, in the first quarter of the year within Dubai and Northern Emirates.
The opening of the new facilities in Deira, Sharjah and Fujeirah are the result of Al Nabooda Automobiles commitment with its customers and will also complement the current service offering as now they will present customers with an even wider variety of products and service options.
Al Nabooda Automobiles-Volkswagen goes to great lengths to develop and maintain a good team atmosphere among the strong workforce in order to benefit customers, and is planning to continue to raise the bar throughout 2014.
