GALADARI AUTOMOBILES APPOINTS NEW GENERAL MANAGER

Expects to Grow Business in the Coming Three Years
21 January, 2014, Dubai: Galadari Automobiles Ltd, sole agent for Mazda cars in the UAE, is delighted to announce the appointment of its new General Manager, Mr. Ewan Ramsay. Ramsey comes with over 30 years of experience working with different automotive brands across the world.
Prior to joining Galadari Automobiles, Ramsey held several key positions with Mercedes-Benz UK including Sales Director Passenger Cars, Network Operations Director and Managing Director of their retail division. Prior to that, Ramsey was General Manager of Gargash Enterprises in the UAE and was responsible for further growing the Mercedes Benz brand in the country.
Khaled Soliman, Chief Executive Officer, Galadari Brothers Group commented on the appointment: “We are pleased that Mr. Ramsey has joined our team as we are confident that he will be a strong asset and dynamic driving force to our automotive division.”
Commenting on his new position, Ramsey states “I am delighted to join Galadari Automobiles as its new General Manager and I look forward to working with the team and building on the success that has been achieved to-date and I look forward to building on this achievement and driving the company and the strong brands which it represents – Mazda, Zeibart, Veedol, Nexcolor and Rent-A-Car.”

Mazda in particular, has an exciting future demonstrated by the launch of a world-leading product in its segment, the all-new Mazda 6. There are a number of other new products to be launched over the next three years and with our investment in a brand new state-of-the-art showroom and aftersales facility on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai and new facilities in Al Quoz, we are creating a strong infrastructure for future growth,” concluded Ramsey.
