Baker & More - A Community Café and Home Grown Brand

Dubai, UAE, 29 September 2013 – Since its launch last year, home grown brand Baker & More has been successful in offering a more upscale alternative to your high-street coffee shop.  The  ‘social coffee house' concept allows its customers to enjoy that neighborhood feel, in a modern comfortable interior in the uniquely designed social ‘pods' while surrounded with the aroma of freshly baked goodies.

“I had looked into several local & internationally branded coffee shops and found that it lacked two things; freshly-baked menu options, and that certain social environment that is fast becoming a part of the new coffee shop culture, so we decided to base our core concept on these two elements “ says Joe Kandalaft the Founder of Baker & More. 

Located in Ibn Battuta the space is well equipped for the mobile worker with free Wi-fi and easily accessible power points within each pod.  The relaxed and cool atmosphere offers a clear invitation to hang-out with friends, shoot the breeze, or just to sit at the counter and enjoy straight-up sumptuously baked goods.

“We are really thrilled with the success of Baker & More and recently launched Dubai's first Nutella filled bun during the festive occasion of Eid Al Fitr. All our buns are freshly baked onsite so it means that we can customize our menu to suit popular demand for the bun fillings” says Joe Kandalaft. “We also collaborated with top Parisian chefs to prepare the signature recipes of our melt-in-your-mouth-Macaroons.”

Baker & More has also been fast recognized for their breakfasts. Ranging from a selection reminiscent of Sunday morning breakfast's at Grandma's, or the quick and easy healthy for the mobile worker on the go. Moreover “the straight-up good food breakfast” is now served all day.

Keeping social experience in mind; gourmet wraps, sandwiches, smoothies and salads are also available so that there is always something for everyone in the menu. The community coffee lounge will also soon be offering value-added and interactive events for its customers.
