Abu Dhabi's Most Extravagant Party Celebrating 150 Year Anniversary of Monte-Carlo SBM and Second Birthday of Monte-Carlo Beach Club, Saadiyat

Top DJs and spectacular entertainment set to wow guests on Saadiyat Island

Abu Dhabi, September 24, 2013: Top DJs from Beirut's legendary Sky Bar - MaDJam and Kiko Navarro - will be part of a six DJ line-up to entertain guests at Monte-Carlo Beach Club, Saadiyat's spectacular anniversary party on October 25th, it was announced today.

The event, hosted by Monte-Carlo Beach Club, Saadiyat, will honour the 150th Anniversary of its parent company, Monte-Carlo SBM (Societe des bains de mer de Monaco). The iconic Monte-Carlo SBM owns some of the most prestigious hotels in Europe, including the Hotel de Paris and Monte-Carlo Bay.

The exclusive evening will play host to VIPs, club members and other reputable personalities from UAE and Monaco, who will enjoy a private celebration from 7.30pm onwards with a live Jazz band followed by an exhibition about the conception of Monaco 150 years ago and Saadiyat island development, that all started with a vision of excellence.

Members of the public can join in the festivities from 9.30pm onwards, when the real party begins around the club's palatial pool with Radio 1's DJ Simon B and precarious fire-breathing dancers are just a few of the acts that will dazzle guests. Guests will even have the chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Monaco for two people, staying for three nights at one of Monte-Carlo SBM's prestigious properties.

General manager of the club, Bill Loveday, spoke of the upcoming event: “This is one of the biggest events we have organised at the club since its opening in 2011 and is sure to be one of the best parties Abu Dhabi has ever seen.”

Since its opening two years ago, Monte-Carlo Beach Club, Saadiyat has become a favourite destination of celebrities visiting Abu Dhabi, including actress Demi Moore and tennis champion Novak Djokovic.

Bill added: “We are thrilled to be hosting our very own 150th anniversary party and sharing in Monaco's rich history. Who knows, perhaps we'll be celebrating our landmark anniversary in many years to come!”

Guests will enjoy delicious canapés created by Monte-Carlo Beach's chef Paolo Sari, who will be flown over from Monaco especially for the event.

Members of the public can purchase tickets starting at 200 AED, inclusive of two drinks. VIP Cabanas and table bookings are available through various packages from Monte-Carlo Beach Club, Saadiyat.

The event has secured high-end brands to sponsor the evening including luxury car manufacturer Audi, celebrity favored swimwear designer Vilebrequin and menswear fashion designer Zilli, who will be on-hand to add a touch of glamour to the evening.
