Baker & Spice Dubai Adds New Dishes

And Updates Old Favourites

The very ethos of Baker & Spice Dubai is based on always looking for fresh, local and regional seasonal ingredients, so there is always something new, with an interesting blend of flavours, to look out for on the menu.

Baker & Spice Dubai only lists a dish once it has been thoroughly tested.  Their recipes are never copied from others and are always made from scratch, using the very best of the season, a commitment towards sustainable produce and reducing the impact of our carbon footprint.

The latest season highlights include:

  •  Oven Roasted Bread Salad - burger buns (homemade of course!) drizzled with olive oil, roasted to a crisp on the outside and smothered with roast tomatoes olive oil & fresh tomato essence, on soft homemade labneh AED48.  Only available at Souk Al Bahar
  • Fig & Bresaola Bruschetta -  Focaccia baked to order, figs grilled with date syrup, with home cured striploin bresaola, parmesan, creamy labneh and local rocket. AED65
  • Salads from the counter -  a delicious taster plate of four from a variety of freshly made salads using seasonal ingredients sourced from local markets & organic farms AED58.  After  trying these you'll never consider salads boring again!

And a Baker & Spice breakfast has to include own recipe versions of Shakshouka.  Made for two to share and served with fresh home-baked farmhouse bread, choose from the Red Shakshouka (4 eggs cooked in a tangy rich fresh tomato salsa spiked with garlic paprika & chili, drizzled with olive oil) at AED78; Green Shakshouka (4 eggs cooked in a fresh kousa & melted onion salsa with fresh spinach, turmeric & dried chili flakes drizzled with olive oil) at AED78, or the original Shakshouka Matbukha (4 eggs poached in a rich homemade tomato & red peppers sauce with garlic, chili & olive oil) at AED95.  The dish slowly simmers away for several hours to intensify the combined flavours of tomatoes peppers and spices
