Bateel International launches a new concept in the UAE – Bateel Bakery.

With the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, Bateel International has opened its 8th Café in Dubai, located in Town Centre Jumeirah. During the opening ceremony, the megabrand surprised its audience with the launch of a new concept – Bateel Bakery.

Offering healthy breads and artisanal cakes and Viennoiseries, following traditional French recipes, the gourmet brand is trying to redefine the bakery sector in the UAE.

“Baking is an art form, we strive to offer taste and simplicity with breads and cakes the way our grandmothers used to make them. Our breads are made with only finest ingredients and are naturally fermented” says Jean-Luc Vila, Deputy General Manager Corporate Manufacturing & Development.

Bateel Bakery brings the true French Art de Vivre to its customers. The exceptional rustic yet luxurious chic combined with the mouth-watering offering is unique and will clearly add to the existing Bateel Gourmet Boutique and Café Bateel concepts. 

“We are sure that customers will appreciate this new offering; hence they are becoming more and more sophisticated with a high demand for healthy, high-quality products.” Explains Jean-Luc De Vila.

All breads and pastries are baked freshly on site, the breads are baked several times during the day in a traditional hand-crafted way to ensure consistent fresh quality and customer satisfaction. Bateel has adjusted some of their traditional French recipes to the local taste by creating Zataar and sesame baguettes, dried fruit bread with figs and dates, as well as special tarts for Ramadan, such as the Wanan ruthab Clafuti. These combinations create a tasty fusion between Europe and the Middle East that suit the local palate.
