Paris Gallery to set up a first-of-its-kind integrated retail communications platform across its stores in the UAE

With its underlying IT structure undergoing a major overhaul, customer service will now take on a new meaning

Paris Gallery, the leading luxury retailer in the region, together with Avaya and Eutech Cybernetic, announced the launch of ‘PG Connect,' an integrated retail communications platform that provides a rich collaborative experience through a range of communication solutions. PG Connect is a major overhaul of Paris Gallery's underlying communications platform to include unified communication solutions that enhances the efficiency and productivity of the Paris Gallery Group of Companies. Now in its initial phase, the goal of PG Connect is to break down communication barriers within Paris Gallery's vast network of stores and facilitate easy and quick collaboration among its work force using the latest business communication solutions. PG Connect will be up and running and fully functional before the turn of the year.

What is PG Connect? A state-of-the-art communications platform. For its business operations, it's a platform that will connect its employees, franchisees and stakeholders, enabling them to communicate and collaborate using multi-user audio-visual interactive interfaces in real time. And for its customers, it translates into a convenient shopping experience. Using PG Connect, employees can access relevant information using any device, anytime, anyplace. It will greatly enhance customer experience by offering customers instant access to relevant information and faster service.

PG Connect will seamlessly integrate Avaya's unified communication and collaboration tools with Paris Gallery's business processes. The platform, jointly developed by Avaya and Eutech Cybernetic, will bring together Avaya's latest Collaboration Environment and Eutech's iViva Smart Workplace platform implemented through the iViva.works™ suite of applications. Within this framework, Avaya will provide the underlying communication elements and connectivity.

The PG Connect workplace will also utilize video and web conferencing solutions with the objective of reducing travel and increasing employee effectiveness. This includes the use of video services to address staff product knowledge and training. Avaya One-X® Mobile will provides PG Connect users with simple and intuitive access to enterprise communications from a wide selection of mobile devices, including high-end smart phones and tablets.
