Dubai Jewellery Shoppers Celebrate Big Wins During the 25th Dubai Shopping Festival

 

 

Dubai; January 07 2020:   The latest edition of Dubai Gold & Jewellery Group (DGJG) promotion, celebrating the 25th anniversary of Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) in association with Dubai Festival & Retail Establishment (DFRE), witnessed an overwhelming response within the first 10 days of the extravagant shopping festival. The daily draws have been immensely popular this year and have surprised 53 lucky jewellery shopper so far who took home special edition ‘Dubai City of Gold’ coins.

 

Speaking on the occasion of the 1st weekend raffle draw, Tawhid Abdullah – Chairman, Dubai Gold & Jewellery Group said, “I congratulate all the winners and would like to wish the best to all the jewellery shoppers for the win. The 25th year of DSF has started on a very positive note and both the residents and tourists of City of Gold have shown equal enthusiasm this season. We have seen a sharp rise in sales this year since the DSF has started. We have witnessed 20 tourists winning in the first ten days of the campaign and that highlights the increasing participation and popularity of our campaign.”

From lucky mother and daughter duo to the lucky to-be groom, the first week raffle draw brought smiles on the faces of residents and shoppers alike. 

Meenakshi Sunil and her daughter Archana bought Dh23,000 worth of gold jewellery from a store at the Deira Gold Souk and each of them won big. Commenting on their wins, Meenakshi said, “We always buy gold when we come to Dubai. This time we bought two heavy chains and a couple of bangles. But this time we got lucky.”

 

Another winner, Ghulam Mustafa, who went home with 25 gold coins expressed his joy; “I am extremely happy and can’t believe my luck. I am going to Bangladesh to finalize my wedding date. My bride to be is already lucky for me. I am planning to use the gold coins to buy some special gifts for my bride to be and my mother.”

 

The daily raffle draws for the jewellery customer will continue till the end of DSF where jewellery buyers stand a chance to win close to 2000 more gold coins. 

 

 

With every Jewellery purchase of AED 500 from any of the participating Jewellery outlets, customers will be entitled to get one raffle coupon that can win them up to 3000 Gold Coins of 8 grams each in raffle draws. There will be 5 winners in daily raffle draws until 1st of February 2020; the first winner will win 25 coins, second to win 20, third to win 15, fourth to win 10 and fifth winner will take home 5 coins. Also, shoppers can win more every Saturday, starting on Jan 4, where three additional winners can win 5 coins each.

 

Customers can double their winning chances with the purchase of diamond and pearl jewellery worth AED 500 or on the purchase of ‘Dubai City of Gold’ special edition coin or when using Visa card for purchase, where shoppers will be entitled for double raffle
