Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 3 June, 2015:  The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has  commenced its' Business Process streamlining by moving to a completely automated system, said a top health official.

Engineer Salah Al Marri, Director of Corporate Excellence Department at DHA  said the project is taking place in collaboration with a specialized management consultation agency in UAE. “In order to make our day-to-day work flow management, business procedures and policies  more efficient we will develop a Business Process Management(BPM) framework to enhance and improve the current practices. We will use some software to streamline DHA processes.  The implementation of this project has several diverse benefits such as more accuracy in implementation of policies and procedures and it will help us move to a paperless environment”.

Al Marri mentioned that the project is planned to be finished by the end of Feb 2016. It will include several awareness sessions on requirements of integrated management systems, gap analysis, review and prepare quality health safety and environment(QHSE) policy, qualifying the documentation system in DHA and performing compliance auditing throughout the concerned departments of the DHA.

Al Marri added that the project will include documentation of business processes and the projects will be enhanced based on gap analysis results. He added that the Authority will apply the relevant laws, legislations, and policies.
