Dubai Ice Rink, the Olympic-sized ice rink managed by Emaar Retail in The Dubai Mall, will host an exciting ‘Ice Factor' skating challenge for all skating enthusiasts on May 30, 2015.

‘Ice Factor' challenge is open for public with competitions in three categories. The ‘Beginner' category welcomes children in the age group 4 to 6 years, to show their talented moves in ‘2 foot glides', ‘Falling down/standing up' and ‘Music interpretation' challenges. 

The ‘Basic' category is open to participants from 7 years and above who will compete in sessions including ‘1 foot glides', ‘Swizzles' and ‘Music interpretation'.

Also open for those 7 years and above is the ‘Advanced' category, where they participate in ‘Spray stops', ‘Creative 1 foot or spirals' and ‘Music interpretation' challenges.

Apart from the memorable experience of taking part in the challenge, the three best performing skaters in each category will be rewarded with medals.

Encouraging a culture of wellness while promoting entertainment for visitors of all ages, Dubai Ice Rink is today one of the city's popular leisure destinations. The Dubai Ice Rink Skating Academy, an integral part of the leisure attraction, offers training to all skating enthusiasts who wish to elevate their skills to the next level through weekly and extended training sessions.
