Dubai, United Arab Emirates, April 8, 2015: Membership of Royal College of General Practitioners of London (MRCGP International) examination board recently organized a workshop at DHA to formulate the questions for membership of Royal College of General Practitioners.

MRCGP examiners and family medicine experts from Dubai Health Authority were present during the workshop.

Experts such as Dr. Chris Elfes from Royal college of General Practitioners in UK and Dr. Fatma Al Sayed, module coordinator of the exam felicitated the workshop.

Dr. Ashraf Ahmed, Chair of MRCGP Exam Board  and  Head of the Academic Affairs Centre at DHA, said: “We are proud that our family physicians received this opportunity to set questions for the examination.  The examination sets high standards for family physicians and this is important to ensure highly-quality family physicians serve patients both across the private and public health sector.”

She highlighted that the DHA pays significant importance to continuous medical education and works with local and international partners to ensure a steady stream of highly qualified talent-pool in the health sector.
