Sunday, March 9th, 2015 - Dubai, UAE: The inaugural design showcase, theindesigner, takes place this month in Dubai championing works from 30 up-and-coming designers from across the region. The exhibition, which runs from the 17th till the 20th of March at O' De Rose, Al Wasl Street will display pieces ranging from fashion and jewelry to home accessories and leather goods.
Organized by GATA Events & Promotions s.a.r.l., the exhibition is open to the public daily from 3pm to 8pm and is free to attend.
In addition to the designers, theindesigner will have an exclusive space, “The WOW Room”, allocated to special guests including fashion icons and bloggers who will be exhibiting their limited editions or one-off collections, all of which will be available to buy and order. “The WOW Room” special-guest list includes fashion icon Lady Fozaza (Tuesday, March 17th 3-5:30 PM), fashion icon Miryam Labiad (Tuesday, March 17th, 5:30-8 PM), blogger Ola Farhat (Wednesday, March 18th 3-5:30 PM), blogger Lana El Sahely (Thursday, March 19th, 3-5:30 PM) and fashion icon Hadia Sinno (Thursday, March 19th, 5:30-8 PM) among others.
theindesigner brings Dubai's smart set a trendy shopping experience for those in the know. Cocktails, funky beats and plenty of opportunity to mingle with the designers, their VIP customer database, fashion/lifestyle journalists and bloggers, and celebrities – this is the must see fashion event of the month.

The Designers
Some of the designers on the cusp of becoming the next big label and showcasing their creations at O' De Rose, Al Wasl Street, throughout the four-day event include:
- Christelle Clara of Margherita Chiaramonte featuring her hand-designed hats that evoke the vintage charms of the past with a contemporary twist.
- Cyrille Najjar, head architect and Managing Director of White sur White, a multi-disciplinary design and innovation agency sitting at the intersection of architecture, technology, and materials.
- Nathalie El Metni and her brand Jolie Lola, an exciting line of bags and accessories that won wide acclaim since its launching.
- Randa Choueiri Rizk and her eponymous line of fine jewelry and glass sculptures that draw on her passion for glass fusing.
- Sybille Abillama and her husband Ziad Abillama with their Atelier S/Z showcasing innovative home accessories' such as the 'Why U - Y me?' shisha concept and the backgammon dice 'Mastara“, all inspired by Lebanese traditions with a modern twist.
- Sandra Gharghour and her brand GARGOUR GEMS which offers classical and contemporary diamond and pearl-studded pieces for the important moments in a woman's life.
- Hala Salem Achillas, the Paris-based fashion consultant and illustrator who has collaborated with the Costes brothers as art director for one of their leading boutique hotels in Paris.
- Sigrid Freiha and her elegant and fashionable Haute Couture label which gained regional acclaim.
- Sherine Natour and her brand 'Vishnu” offering unique fashion accessories including wrist-to-finger slave bracelets, upper body chains, belly chains, anklets, and hair combs.
