Dubai, UAE, 29 January 2015 – GAC Bunker Fuels has passed the latest audit of its ISO 9001 audit for marine fuel and lubricants trading and brokerage, underlining its commitment to compliance and business ethics at an uncertain time for the global bunker fuels sector.

Following GAC Bunker Fuels' successful audit, DNV auditor Marimuthu Kumaraswamy said: 'Management involvement in core processes has resulted in customer requirements being met and business targets being achieved.” The ISO certification shows GAC Bunker Fuels continuing commitment to compliance and corporate governance.

Nick Browne, GAC Bunker Fuels' Global Director, says the company's dedication to Corporate Governance is matched by its commitment to customer service. To that end, bunker traders Natasha Saini and Ahmed Al Darwish have joined the company's head office in Dubai to further enhance operations for its clients.

'Natasha comes with good procurement experience in the oil & gas sector, and Ahmed is an Arabic speaker with a very bright future ahead of him. The appointment of another Arabic speaker to the team will allow us to better serve our customer base here in the Middle East,” he adds. “Their appointments demonstrate our collective commitment to operational excellence and to recruiting and training young, talented individuals.”
