Here's to 10 years of being the heart of Dubai's economy

Al-Khair joins DIFC in its 10th anniversary celebrations.

The Dubai International Financial Centre, Dubai's business centre is the illustrious gateway to the emerging markets of the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA). What started as a mission in 2004 to elevate Dubai's position as a global financial station, is today a full-fledged financial district, celebrating its 10 year anniversary.

The Al-Khair family takes this opportunity to congratulate DIFC for this milestone and is proud of its association with the hub. Al-Khair Capital [Dubai] Limited, became the first Saudi investment company registered and regulated by the Capital Market Authority in Saudi Arabia to receive a DFSA license to operate in DIFC.

The approval from the Dubai Financial Services Authority and Al-Khair's new branch at DIFC is a major step forward in the company's growth strategy across the region. “We are extremely delighted to extend our capabilities in financial and investments services to clients in the UAE. Over the years, we have evolved in our service offerings and we are glad to offer our expertise and industry knowledge to DIFC”, said Khalid Al Mulhim –CEO of Al Khair Capital. “We are confident that AlKhair will be able to add value to the industry as a whole with our presence in Dubai” he added.

DIFC is a purpose-built financial centre, committed to advancing the region's financial sector. The thriving financial district is located in the heart of a dynamic cosmopolitan city and has been a long-standing pillar of Dubai's economy.

Al Mulhim also stressed upon the importance of the support that they received from all of the leaders in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates for the development of intra-regional trade under the umbrella of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

A gala event which was held under the patronage of His Highness, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to celebrate these 10 successful years of growth for the centre. As in the span of one decade, the Dubai International Financial Centre has catapulted into global prominence as a centre for trade and finance.
