Kuwait City, October, 2014: While the average per capita consumption of cosmetics and fragrances in the GCC is estimated to be around US$ 380 per person annually, Kuwait leads the region as one of the fastest growing luxury markets, driven by high disposable incomes, a young population and a growing lifestyle trend.

The perfumes sector in the GCC, projected to touch US$10 billion by 2015, is expected to take the center stage at the Kuwait International Perfumes & Cosmetics Exhibition– one of the largest exhibitions for the industry in the Middle East, to be held in Kuwait City between October 22 and November 1, 2014.

As the leading fragrance brands in the region, Rasasi Perfumes will showcase its finest array of finished sprays, oils  and concentrated  fragrances, high-end mukhalats, dhanel oud and other bakhoor products that suit the preferences of discerning customers.  Traditionally, the Kuwaiti customers await Rasasi's participation in the event, as each year something new is unveiled as part of the brand's commitment to this prestigious event and the local market.

Salim Kalsekar, Managing Director of Rasasi Perfumes, said: “The Kuwait International Perfumes & Cosmetics Exhibition is an important platform for Rasasi, as it gives us an opportunity to interact with a huge and varied base of perfume consumers beside our loyal customers, gauge the developing tastes and product preferences, and in general predict the likely trends in perfumery. In addition to good business, it greatly helps us to adapt to the consumer and market expectations in terms of product development.   Our participation is a part of our commitment towards the local customers in bringing the finest oriental perfumes to Kuwait; a market which remains strategic to our growth plans.”

While Rasasi products are preferred for their unique fragrances, quality packaging, bottling and an understated elegance, the brand commitment remains towards further development of the market through a focus on developing products that are preferred by the local Kuwaiti customers and are unique to the region. Furthermore, Rasasi's  commitment to expanding its retail foot print in the country is reflected in new store launches at Arbeed Plaza & new shopping destinations like The Gate Mall.

In Kuwait, Rasasi's standalone store footprint includes Mubarakiya, Fahaheel, Jleeb Al Shuyokh, Manar Mall, Magateer Center, Al Jahara, Manshar Mall, Lulu Qurain, Qurain City Center & Sahari Mall.
