This month from October 1-4, 2014 the Dubai International Financial Center hostedthe region's very own Middle East Fashion Week. OPI Nail Lacquer served as official nail sponsor of the renowned event where,for the first time, both international and local talents were celebrated.
To honor the occasion of the West meeting the Middle East, nail looks were exclusively selected from over 200 gorgeous OPI shades, including its latest and brightest introduction, the exquisite Coca Cola-inspired collection.
This year, OPI walked the runway with several exciting designers. Charlotte Ronson models wore Samoan Sandwhile The Cartel painted its models in Alpine Snow. In another electrifying first, local designer Mona Fares selected Coca Cola collection hues to complement her colorful collection, including Orange You Stylish(inspired by Fanta Orange),Green on the Runaway(inspired by Sprite) and Sorry Im Fizzy Today (inspired by Coke Vanilla). The Coca Cola collection's vibrant shades turned heads while adding a burst of optimism.
Designers Hany El Behairy, Ina Soltani and Jerome LaMaar also created rich looks from two Coca Cola collection shades, while models from Ntombi Couture, Kay Li and Ostel donned the subtle You're So Vain-illa(also inspired by Vanilla Coke).
Fashion Week Middle East is the MENA region's largest Premier Fashion Event to take place twice a year (during March and October), and will provide a proper platform for regional and international designers to showcase their collections to the fashion industry elite from the Middle East and around the world.
