The company will present its worldwide innovation in polygeneration, especially suitable to those who are not connected to a power grid or whose grids are not reliable or powerful enough, prices or foorprint too high. From September 28th to 30th, Atoll Energy will be on the French Pavilion at Hotel Show 2014 in Dubai (Hall 4 – Booth 4D74).
The company designs, installs and commissions energy solutions that harness the heat lost in power generation, turning it into useful energy simultaneously producing hot water, air conditioning and freshwater.
During Hotel Show, ATOLL ENERGY will seize the opportunity to present to the UAE market:
- Its diagnostic tools to assess potential energy savings in a hotel .
- Its innovative energy audit system designed to make temporary data logging of dispersed and multiple-source measurements (both tertiary and industrial).
- 3D models and videos of the QuadriTherm platform, a test bench installed at the CEA (The French Atomic and Alternative Energy Commission) facility in Cadarache and used in testing the behaviour of any Atoll Energy solution according to the profile of a customer's site.
Atoll Energy is a turnkey integrator supplying all or part of the following components, assembled into a unique energy architecture controlled by its software to ensure the highest possible energy savings:
Power stations: generators, alternators, motors, turbines powered by diesel, gas or biomass processing.
Industrial refrigeration and air-conditioning: absorption chillers.
Heating, drying: exchangers, very-high-efficiency heat pumps.
Desalinated, freshwater: Evaporation-condensation, humidification-dehumidification.
The smart features used in regulating and exploiting energy following a cascade principle have been rewarded by a number of international patents. Those innovations deliver unprecedented performance, surpassing standard polygeneration solutions that use a backup furnace. They stand out from standard cogeneration applications by dynamically managing thermal losses, ensuring there will be savings after an energy audit that has been conducted at the customer's site. The audit measures the profile and consumption curves of hotels where over 50% of the needs can be met with waste heat. The profiles are then used to design and control the most efficient energy solution.
As a result, they make it possible to save energy while simultaneously improving the reliability and lifecycle of power stations; they reduce the ecological footprint and greenhouse gas emissions; they provide neutral air-conditioning free of refrigerants (CFC, HCFC and HFC) and produce less noise – isolated and underused generators (65 dB at 1 metre).
