“The Fun Side of Summer” in Dubai has become synonymous with one-of-a-kind experiences that visitors and residents from around the world look forward to in every corner of the city, with a lot of gusto and anticipation.
Be it the residents who have been using the extravaganza to carve out special memories with friends and family who come to visit them from other parts of the world, or the thousands of tourists who touch down in Dubai in anticipation of a fantastic summer holiday they will never forget - anyone who is in Dubai during the Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) period is guaranteed of a personalized and relaxing fun side of summer.
Now in its 17th edition, the month-long festival is giving every visitor multiple reasons to celebrate, to smile and to simply bask in the warmth of the sunniest highlights of Dubai. From the excitement of its world-class events to the beauty of its signature landmarks – Dubai has redefined fun for the entire family in more ways than one.
With the three exciting elements of shopping, winning and entertainment in place - every visitor including the young ones and the grownups – is finding some fond memories to take home in the form of unique experiences, great prizes or unbelievable bargains throughout DSS.
The 17th edition of DSS is organized by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), and will run until 5 September this year, under the theme, “The Fun Side of Summer.”
