Spinneys, the leading premier retailer in Lebanon, successfully raised 115,110,482 LBP for the Children Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL) in its summer donation campaign. The money was donated by Spinneys shoppers at Spinneys' 8 branches across Lebanon.
Mr. Ralph El Kahi, Group Head of Marketing at Spinneys, said: “The money is not only going to a center that has been doing excellent, life-saving work for many years, but also for the children who are fighting a brave battle and holding on to hope.” He added: “The Donate for Life campaign was only one of the many initiatives Spinneys organizes in order to give back to its community.”
During the month-long campaign, which began on June 16th and ended on July 18th, customers donated $1 at the cash registers in any of the supermarket's 8 branches. And to encourage shoppers even more, Spinneys offered customers 5 bonus points for every $1 donate to be added to their balance from Spinneys loyalty program for points collection and rewards.
