Kalyan Silks brings alive the new trends and shades in cotton through a fabulous cotton festival. Named Cotton Jugalbandi, the festival will begin on June 6 in Kalyan Silks showrooms across UAE. Showcasing scores of cotton sarees and collections handpicked from over one thousand Indian villages, Cotton Jugalbandi is one of its kind.

A fine fusion of modern styling and rustic designs, Cotton Jugalbandi showcases four sections that represent the regional diversities of India. The sections are Rajput Ranjhaana, Mural Royale, Mughal-e-Azam and Dakshin & Deccan.

Rajaput Ranjhaana is all about the exotic prints. Desert, Dusty, Denim, Rajasthani, Western Ethnic, Rang Jaisalmer and Jaltharang are some of the prints introduced through this collection. Mural Royale offers a peek into the finest ranges of organic, cot linen and silk cotton embroidered with mural paintings, water colour designs and charcoal patterns. Mugal-e-Azam gives a new twist to the age-old Hyderabadi, Lucknowi and Kashmiri patterns, and this collection is rendered mainly in mercerized cotton and mulberry cotton. Dakshin & Deccan brings alive the spirit of the artistic perfection that is the hallmark of South Indian designs. This stunning range is perfected in temple cotton, tribal cotton and bamboo cotton.

Apart from a truly awe-inspiring collection of cotton sarees, the festival will showcase the latest ranges in readymade churidars, churidar materials, men's wear and kids' wear.

‘It has been our endeavor to set a new trend every year through the cotton festival. This year is no exception. This time around we have given emphasis on colours and design concepts from rural India. Another highlight of this edition of cotton festival is our focus on eco-friendly products. Cotton Jugalbandi showcases many collections that are made of natural fibers. It is the first in UAE such ideas are translated into fashion accessories,” said Mr. T.S. Pattabhiraman, Chairman and Managing Director, Kalyan Silks.
