Ongoing Food and Beverage Promotions at The Park

DUBAI, UAE (01 June 2014) –Park Hyatt Dubai is delighted to announce details of its food and beverage promotions for June 2014.  Guests can visit us next month to enjoy any – or all – of these delicious treats!

Traiteur 

Friday Brunch (Closed during Ramadan)

Friday brunch at Traiteur restaurant  offers diners the chance to choose from four brunch packages presented by Chef Daniel Hoefler and his team, available from 12:30pm to 4:00pm.  

-    Non-alcoholic package: AED 465 per person, including food and non-alcoholic beverages.  Children aged between 6 and 12 years are charged AED 180 per person. 
-    Sparkling wine package: AED 570 per person, including food, beer, wine and sparkling wine.
-    Champagne package: AED 690 per person, including food, beer, wine and  champagne
-    Dom Perignon package: AED 2,998 per person, including pick-up and drop-off in a hotel limousine, food, Dom Perignon champagne and selected spirits, beer and wine, as well as a gift from Pistache; Park Hyatt Dubai's chic boutique patisserie.

Guests can enjoy the stunning architecture and theatre-style kitchen of Traiteur.  Alternatively, they can relax and enjoy brunch with friends in the private dining room, Cave Privée, or on the outdoor terrace area overlooking the marina.  

Featuring a large selection of appetisers and live cooking stations, Traiteur offers shucked Fine de Claire oysters, assorted pork charcuterie and spit-roasted duck, lamb and USA beef from the rotisserie.  Lobster, shrimp and beef tenderloin from the grill station will also delight, while a live station serves eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, as well as a selection of seasonal vegetables and potatoes served in copper pots.

A variety of dishes is also on offer from the piazza area outside Traiteur, where a live grill station is set up, as well as a spit-roasted suckling pig.

As for desserts, an extensive buffet is set up inside Traiteur's private dining room (also referred to as The Chef's Table) in addition to live dessert stations.  The mouth-watering selection here includes home-made ice-cream, a crêpe station, a chocolate fountain, a praline station and a plethora of other desserts including macaroons, opera cake, eclairs and crème brûlée.

Reservations are required 48 hours in advance for the Dom Perignon Brunch package and must be for a minimum of four people.

The Thai Kitchen

Friday Brunch (Closed during Ramadan)

An extensive menu of authentic Thai dishes is prepared in three open kitchens, one each for wok, grill, and noodles.
  
The Thai Kitchen's Friday brunch in Dubai is available from 12:30pm to 4:00pm and offers the following packages: 

-    Non-alcoholic package: AED 240 per person, including food, soft drinks, water, assorted juices and Thai tea
-    Wine and beer package: AED 299 per person, including food, non-alcoholic beverages, a selection of wine and beer
-    Sparkling wine package: AED 375 per person, including food, non-alcoholic beverages, a selection of wine, beer, standard spirits and sparkling wine

Wednesday Night Special

Park Hyatt Dubai's award-winning restaurant, The Thai Kitchen, has a special evening planned every Wednesday night.  Diners at The Thai Kitchen on these nights will be able to feast on an extensive list of dishes served on an unlimited basis right at their table, all for just AED230 per person (excluding beverages).

Congee Set Menu

The Thai Kitchen offers a choice of two congee set menus every Saturday and Sunday evening.  Congee is a rice porridge dish popular across Asia, and is in keeping with the much-praised high standards of Chef Supattra and the authenticity of the food served at The Thai Kitchen. 

Both set menus include a selection of congee dishes including pandan and taro congee.  The selection of main dishes that follow are made to be shared, and include authentic favourites such as stir-fried prawns with garlic and pepper, spicy crispy catfish salad, simmered duck in five-spice sauce and stir-fried red snapper with celery, chilli and soy beans, to name just a few.  The meal can be topped off with a sumptuous Thai dessert. 

The set menu is 160 AED per person (for a minimum of two guests.)

Café Arabesque

Friday Family Lunch and Buffet Nights (Not taking place during Ramadan)

Discover the flavours of the Levant region – Jordan, Syria and Lebanon – with an array of authentic Arabic dishes created especially for Café Arabesque's Friday family lunch from 12:30pm to 4:00pm.  The buffet night commences every Friday evening at 6:00pm, priced at AED150 per person.  Children under 12 enjoy a 50% discount.

Guests of Café Arabesque will delight in a variety of hot and cold mezze, from fitr mutafa, mekanek, kebdet dajaj, sultan ibrahim and machawi moushaklieh to live cooking stations offering saj bread and chicken shawarma.  Ouzi lamb from the rotisserie and a wide selection of desserts, such as oum ali, kounafe with fresh cream, rez bil halib, Syrian ice-cream and fruit, and authentic Arab pastries are also available.

The Dine-Around Package (Closed during Ramadan)

Park Hyatt Dubai's culinary team is delighted to offer an exciting dining concept to restaurant guests.  The Dine-Around concept features each dinner course being served in a different Park Hyatt Dubai restaurant; pertaining to the cuisine of the restaurant in which the course is served.

The Dine-Around package is priced at AED 395 per person, and for an additional AED 195 per person the package includes a glass of wine each per course.  The package is available from Sunday to Friday, from 7:00pm until 12:00 midnight, and prior bookings are required.  A minimum of two guests is required to make a booking.

The Lounge

Afternoon Tea (Not taking place during Ramadan)

Located in the heart of the hotel, where large windows overlook Dubai Creek, The Lounge is surrounded by several water features and a central indoor garden, providing a peaceful haven where guests can savour one of the most beloved English rituals: afternoon high tea.

Served from 2:00pm to 6:00pm daily, this light, elegant meal consists of three courses, starting with assorted crustless finger sandwiches of smoked organic salmon, cucumber and cream cheese, air-dried bresaola and grain mustard, and fresh mozzarella and tomato on a soft roll.  

Next, guests can savour pastry delights including classic English trifle, Scottish shortbread, fresh berry tartlets and mouth-watering chocolate éclairs, as well as freshly baked raisin and plain scones served with Devonshire clotted cream, homemade lemon curd and a variety of jams and preserves.

Taking centre stage is, of course, the wonderful assortment of twelve varieties of fine tea, including Assam breakfast, Earl Grey and Darjeeling to name a few. 

Afternoon tea is priced at AED 190 per couple.  

Guests can now opt for a new afternoon tea package at The Lounge, served daily from 2:00pm until 4:00pm.  The menu includes all the traditional favourites accompanied by a glass of sparkling wine. 

This package is priced at AED 290 per couple.

Afternoon tea is becoming a regular option for baby showers and hen gatherings.  We are happy to consider individual requests for these events in alternative locations, such as serving afternoon tea in one of the private dining rooms or on Traiteur's upper balcony overlooking the marina.

Masterclasses at the Park (Not taking place during Ramadan)

The chef de cuisine at The Thai Kitchen, Chef Supattra Boonsrang, looks forward to holding master-classes; ideal for birthday or anniversary parties, or as gifts for food enthusiasts.

These cooking classes offer a unique opportunity to work with, and learn from, the experts themselves, with the masterclasses held in one of the hotel's most stylish venues: The Thai Kitchen's open restaurant kitchens.  

Intimate groups of eight to twelve people work together and enjoy the fruit of their experience for lunch, also getting the chance to learn tips and tricks while cooking a tantalising meal using only the finest ingredients. 

The price for each masterclass starts from AED 350 per person, and includes lunch (prepared by the class) and non-alcoholic beverages.  Masterclasses that also include a glass of champagne are priced from AED 525 per person.

Restaurants and Bars at Park Hyatt Dubai

The Thai Kitchen 
The Thai Kitchen, with authentic cuisine prepared by native chefs, has four live working kitchens – one each for wok, grill, steam and noodles – as well as a kitchen preparing traditional Thai desserts.

Opening Hours:  Friday brunch: 12:30pm until 4:00pm (Not available during Ramadan) Dinner: 7:00pm until 12:00 midnight, daily

Traiteur
Traiteur presents bistronomic French cuisine, best described as casual French fine dining.  A magnificent showpiece staircase connects the restaurant's two levels and gives great views of the kitchen.  With a signature elevated show kitchen that literally positions chefs on a stage, Traiteur is as much a feast for the eyes as the palate.  It also offers an exclusive Cave Privée set amidst a 4,200-bottle wine cellar, one of the most extensive in Dubai.

Café Arabesque 
Café Arabesque celebrates the culinary delights of the Levantine region and is influenced by the flavours of Jordan, Lebanon and Syria.  It also offers five buffet displays, an outstanding mezze selection, and an à la carte menu with a wide selection of kebabs and other regional specialities.

Opening Hours:  Breakfast: 6:30am until 11:00am, daily Lunch: 12:00 noon until 4:00pm, daily Dinner: 6:00pm until 12:00 midnight, daily

The Terrace
With floor-to-ceiling windows that allow for views of the Dubai Creek, The Terrace is a perfect venue in which to relax and enjoy the sunset over the water.  It features a spectacular raw bar offering a selection of caviar, oysters and Balik salmon accompanied by a vast selection of some twenty premium vodkas.

Opening Hours: 5:00pm until 2:00am, daily.

The Lounge
Situated in the heart of the hotel, The Lounge has large windows overlooking the creek.  The adjoining outdoor terrace with reflective pools and magically lit candles is an idyllic setting in which to enjoy a fine selection of light meals, and speciality coffees and teas from the region.                               

Opening Hours: 24 hours a day, daily.
