Consul General of Royal Thai Consulate in Dubai visits Al Maya Supermarket

Al Maya Group, a leading business conglomerate in the UAE, is keen to expand its products portfolio from Thailand.

This was disclosed by Group Director of Al Maya Group Mr. Kamal Vachani during a visit of Consul General of Royal Thai Consulate, Dubai H.E. Mr Thosaporn Moonlasartsathorn, along with Ms Thidarat Saenjai, Consul in Royal Thai Consulate, Dubai, to the Group's Supermarket at Murooj Complex in Dubai.

Al Maya, the winner of Superbrand status for 2013, operates more than 35 supermarkets in the UAE and Oman. Plans are afoot to open more supermarkets in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and other emirates, according to Mr. Vachani.

Mr Thosaporn Moonlasartsathorn discussed enhancing the business relations through Thailand companies. Mr Kamal Vachani assured that the Group will continue to promote Thailand products through Al Maya Supermarkets.

During the visit, Mr Kamal Vachani informed the Consul General that Al Maya Group is importing a large variety of fruits and canned food items from Thailand. “We are looking to add more and more items from Thailand,” Mr Vachani further added.

Al Maya Group attends Trade Fares being held in Thailand and also meet various Thai delegations from time to time in Dubai.

Mr Vachani, thanked H.E. Mr Thosaporn Moonlasartsathorn and Consul in their visit to Al Maya Supermarket.
