Harklinikken collaborates with UAE Charity ‘Friends of Cancer Patients'

April 2014 - Dubai, UAE; Harklinikken has signed an MOU with UAE charity Friends of Cancer Patients society in a bid to assist cancer survivors in the UAE with hair restoration. The Danish hair treatment facility has pledged to offer its services to men and women from across the country facing issues with regrowth following chemotherapy treatment. The partnership takes effect as of April 2014 and is set to continue throughout the year.

Cancer is a debilitating disease and treatment is often a long winding process with wide-ranging effects; we are honoured to assist Friends of Cancer Patients society in offering support to those who have undergone treatment. Cancer therapy affects several aspects of one's life - not only one's physical well-being, but it also takes a huge emotional toll. We will offer our full support for hair restoration following therapy, and with this, hope to have some positive impact,” said Lars Skjøth, Founder of Harklinikken.

About Friends of Cancer Patients
The Friends of Cancer Patients (FoCP) is a UAE based society providing its services across the United Arab Emirates to all residents of the country. 
 
FoCP was established in late 1999 in accordance with the directives and under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of the Ruler of Sharjah, Founder and Royal Patron of the Friends of Cancer Patients Society (FoCP), International Ambassador of the World Cancer Declaration for Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) and International Ambassador for Childhood Cancer for UICC.
