Tim Hortons celebrates the opening of its newest Cafe and Bake Shop restaurant at Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry by Dubai creek, since the brand's arrival to the region in December 2011.
H.E. Hamad Buamim, President and CEO, Dubai Chamber and H.E. Ross Miller, consul general of Canada to Dubai and the Northern Emirates, commemorate the official opening of Tim Hortons newest location by pouring the first cup of coffee. Also present were David F. Clanachan, Chief Operating Officer, Tim Hortons and Nilesh Ved Chairman of Apparel Group, Master License Agreement holder for Tim Hortons in the Gulf.
“We are delighted to have a Tim Hortons café now open in our head office. This is a brand new facility available for our staff and customers to enjoy and complements the work we have done to make our building one of the most modern workplaces in Dubai” said Buamim
“We salute Tim Hortons and their success in the UAE. Canadians love Tim Hortons for their high standards of quality and service. Customers in the UAE clearly value the same” said Miller
“The opening of this new location shows just how much our guests in Dubai have embraced the Tim Hortons experience, and we continue to look forward to the many opportunities that our brand's strong momentum will bring,” said Clanachan.
Speaking in regard to the latest addition, Nilesh Ved, said: “As Tim Hortons is celeberating 50 years of its success since its establishment in 1964, we at Apparel Group are equally excited to celebrate the opening of our newest restaurant in the UAE at the prestigious Dubai Chamber. Apparel Group works very closely with the Dubai Chamber and several Government authorities on various initiatives and the opening of this restaurant marks another milestone and we feel very honoured and proud with our presence at the Dubai Chamber Tower.”
Tim Hortons will soon be enjoyed in several new locations currently under construction in GCC, as the company continues moving towards its goal of 220 restaurants, bringing its freshly baked and freshly brewed products to the region's residential and commercial communities, thanks to the support of valued guests.
