iZ Indian restaurant at Grand Hyatt Dubai launches a brand-new Friday Brunch beginning in May

Grand Hyatt Dubai is excited to launch a brand-new weekly Friday Brunch at iZ, our signature Indian restaurant in Dubai. Starting in May, this award-winning authentic tandoor restaurant will introduce the iZFINITY Brunch, offering a limitless array of richly flavored Indian cuisine, fun and music – all in a chic and sophisticated environment.

Chef Aftab Rahman presents the lush taste of India with immaculate presentation and pitch-perfect spicing in a brunch menu that brings together the most-loved items on the iZ menu. Having been with the restaurant for over six years, Chef Aftab understands the discerning tastes of Dubai diners and serves up a harmonious blend of traditional cuisine with deft touches of modernity in the use of unconventional ingredients. The distinctive open-kitchen with the charcoal-fired tandoor oven forms pride of place in the restaurant where you can watch Chef Aftab and his culinary team at work. 

Diners can expect to taste succulent tandoor-cooked kebabs and tikkas, perfectly-grilled items from the tawa (griddle-like utensil), delicately fried snacks along with hearty main courses, biryanis and the sweet touches of dessert. Signature dishes include: salmon tikka, paneer tikka, tandoori broccoli, dal makhani, murgh makhani and prawns masala. All dishes will be prepared à la minute upon guests' order, ensuring a fresh and robust taste delivered directly to the table. 

The hotel's beverage specialists have also created a special cocktail to accompany the brunch experience. The iZ Spritz is a unique blend of a black pepper infusion, Mandarin-flavored liqueur, tonic water, lime and a red chilli garnish. Black pepper has traditionally been a prized spice in the Indian culture, stimulating taste buds and aiding the assimilation of food. 

Adding to the ambience will be the sound of resident DJ Tahir Hussein, playing lounge, chillout and Bollywood beats, keeping attuned to the mood of the crowd.

•    Every Friday from 12.30pm to 4.00pm starting in May 2014
•    Non-alcoholic Brunch – AED199 net per person including soft drinks, juices, coffee and tea
•    Alcoholic Brunch – AED275 net per person including soft drinks, juices, coffee, tea, sparkling wine, wine, beer, whisky and the iZ Spritz
