DUBAI (April, 2014) – Grand Hyatt Dubai, being home for Oktoberfest for the last seven years, celebrates Maifest, the traditional German farmer's celebration of spring for the second year, back by popular demand. It's time to enjoy authentic German favourites such as schnitzel and flammkuchen, and drink the finest German Löwenbräu beer in our air-conditioned festival tent.
Visitors will indulge in authentic German food such as Currywurst (curry sausages), German Spargel (asparagus), Tatar (beef tatar), Bienenstich (Bee sting) and many more. They will also experience this exciting festival and be served by traditionally dressed waiters and waitresses completing the authentic atmosphere.
Guests will have the chance to dance and sing along with “Die Kirchdorfer” band flown in all the way from Munich. Performing well known songs such as “Rosamunde” and “Bossanova”, this is an event not to be missed!
On 30 April, an exclusive fashion show from Caro Lin Couture by Carolin Kopp will kick-off the evening with fresh, romantic, effortlessly chic dirndls. Inspired by distant countries and fascinated by the colours and cultures, Caro Lin unites the most stunning fabrics from all over the world in local dress: silk, pearls and sequins embroidered lace fabrics and cheer delicate chiffon reflect the multicultural character of Asia and Middle East region.
Enjoy a special Saturday Brunch to get a taste of Bavarian-style delights. The brunch is offered at AED180 per person (food only) and at AED 240 per person (including beverages).
