Dubai, 17 March 2014: EY will be hosting the MENA Tax Conference 2014 in Dubai on the 19 March 2014. The conference will focus on the evolving tax landscape in MENA with presentations being held by EY tax professionals with extensive experience in the region.

Panel discussions with some of the region's leading companies will be held to highlight important tax developments and emerging tax issues.

Sherif El-Kilany, MENA Tax Leader, EY, said: “MENA is a rapidly growing and highly dynamic region undergoing an exciting period of transition. With tax having rapidly climbed to the top of the global agenda in 2013, this conference will provide a timely update to the participants on the evolving tax landscape in the region.”

The conference will also discuss evolving fiscal and tax policies as well as major challenges faced by taxpayers. A key focus will be to familiarize finance and tax executives that are operating in the MENA region, or clients that plan to invest here, with the latest tax updates.

Participants will be able to register for private meetings with EY senior tax executives from across the MENA region to discuss their organization's needs in more detail.
