Dubai, UAE; February 11, 2014: 95% of students graduating from American College of Dubai's (ACD) business management programmes have received one or more job offers or started their own businesses in the UAE, according to ACD's latest data.  The remaining students chose to continue their education by pursuing further studies. The data confirms previous trends of high employability and successful career paths followed by ACD alumni.

Speaking at ACD's recent Alumni event in Dubai, Dr. James Butler, Founder and Chairman, said, “The American system of management education focuses on the overall development of the individual and is run in collaboration with the industry, to prepare students for real life experiences. We are proud to see so many of our students well employed in the UAE and abroad. Going forward, we have plans to expand our facilities with the addition of a new building. We are also adding another Associate in Business program to our evening batch so as to provide more training opportunities to working students who wish to upgrade their skills and qualifications.”

Owais Kazi, an ACD Alumni who currently works for the Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia's regional office in Dubai under the Consulate General of Malaysia, said:  “My journey with ACD started in 2003. Studying under the American system was a great experience and ACD provided me many opportunities to develop my people and organizational skills, through working on campus events like Spring Fiesta.  By the end of 2005, I transferred to HELP University in Malaysia to complete my Bachelor's Degree. I, and a few other students who had transferred from ACD to Malaysia, created a Malaysian version of Spring Fiesta called the Fusion Fiesta, and that was a success too. Today, I am successfully employed in Dubai and, no doubt, the education I received at ACD has played a huge role in my career.”

Niladri Mondal, who started Panache Middle East, a Marketing Operations Agency in 2008 in Dubai, says the business education he received at ACD helped him to plan properly and grow his business at a relatively young age.

Mondal said: “I have succeeded as an entrepreneur due to the strong work ethics and knowledge gained as a result of the business education at ACD. Theoretical knowledge combined with enriching real life experiences at the College gave me the courage to start Panache with my friend.”

Recently, ACD was granted approval by Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to offer concentrations in Finance and Marketing as part of its popular BBA degree program.
