‘King and Queens Nights' to feature dishes inspired by the royal repasts of Awadh, Kashmir, Hyderabad and Bhopal Abu Dhabi, January 6, 2014 – Rosewood Abu Dhabi, the capital's ultra-luxury hotel on Al Maryah Island, will play host to ‘Kings and Queens Nights' – six successive nights filled with opulence and scrumptious meals – at the hotel's modern Pan-Indian restaurant, Spice Mela, from January 19-24. The specially crafted ‘Kings and Queens' tasting menu, inspired by meals prepared at the royal courts of Awadh, Kashmir, Hyderabad and Bhopal, will include, among others, the Lamb nehari shorba, a slow braised lamb with nutmeg, royal cumin and yoghurt, Lamb kakori, a mouth-melting kebab with gram flour, saffron and caramelised onion, and Shahi Tukra, an Indian desert enriched with eggless bread pudding and smoked bread. From the traditional Indian cuisine instilled with a variety of delectable flavours to the visual beauty of the spice-inspired décor, Spice Mela will take visitors on an entrancing journey of fascinating aromas, flavours and textures. The ‘Kings and Queens' menu will be available for AED 460++ per person with grape pairings and AED 295++ per person for food only.
