ChicKing, the internationally renowned Halal quick service restaurant chain from Dubai, announced aggressive expansion plans. Announcing this in a press conference organized in connection with the MoU signing ceremony between Nas International limited (the organization behind the ChicKing brand) and Dual Superfood Sdn Bhd, the Master franchise in Malaysia, Mr. Mansoor, the founder of Chicking, said that the event marks a major milestone in the history of ChicKing. The signing ceremony was in the presence His Excellency Dato Hasan Bin Malek, Minister for the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Malaysia. Outlining the strategic tie up Mr. Mansoor said that with Dual Superfoods Malaysia and Perbadanan Nasional Berhad (PNS) they are entering a phase that will make a major difference in the industry. “This partnership had long been in the making and now we are ready to take off. This relationship will provide us with the platform to take Chicking to the next level and begin our aggressive global franchise campaign. As mentioned by our CEO, Chicking shares a common vision with Malaysia and Dubai a far as the year 2020. Today is the first day of that marks our goal of taking Chicking to over 20 countries in 5 continents and open more than 1000 outlets by the year 2020,” Mr. Fariq Halim, CEO, Nas International said that the appointment of the Malaysian Master Franchisee could not come at a more critical time in ChicKing's development. “We believe that Dual Superfoods, together with the support of PNS and the Ministry, will be able to exceed business expectations and develop ChicKing into a leading quick service restaurant in Malaysia and through out the region of South East Asia. With this strategic partnership, we also take a monumental step forward in ChicKing's global expansion plan and goal to become the leading and largest Global Halal quick service restaurant in the world by the year 2020, entering 5 continents,” he added. Speaking on the occasion His Excellency Dato Hasan Bin Malek said that he is happy to be a witness to this landmark moment. “It is this passion of Mr. Mansoor that has formed the platform for his success. In a relatively short span of time, Chic King has become a brand of repute with 90 outlets encompassing 7 countries, across Asia and Africa. I believe that Chicking has the vision of having more than 1000 outlets by the year 2020 and being the biggest Halal Quick service restaurant. This is not beyond the reach of the Chicking team considering the fact that Mr. Mansoor is leading from the front. The heartening fact is the planned developments in Malaysia through franchising will contribute significantly to Chicking's future vision. Malaysia is a developing nation. The target is to become a developed nation by the year 2020. This provides ample scope for Chicking to realize this dream. This is considering the undisputed facts that Malaysia is a strong consumer market with a franchise friendly government policy as well as a safe and secure business environment.
