Popular Levant Eatery Introduces Fusion Dishes Dubai, U.A.E; 12 November 2013 – One of Downtown's favorite restaurants Mezza House launches a new menu this month offering fresh and exciting new recipes and fusion alternatives to add to their Levantine dining experience. Highlights of the new menu includes several new unique items including: Freekeh soup, crab salad, lentil salad, strawberry rocca, burata cheese, hummos beetroot, and moutabal beetroot. “We like to keep things fresh and update the menu with new flavors and combinations to step away from the typical Levant cuisine by combining signature dishes with a fusion twist such as Frikeh Zotto- a combination of Frikeh cooked in cream topped with Halloum and Parmesan which resembles a risotto – We expect this to be the most popular dish in our new menu,” says Nasser Zuhour, founder of Mezza House. Other fusion additions to the menu are Turkish sojok, halloum with mushroom, fig birds, beid ghanam, veals shakshouka, giant kabab and wagyu beef. The Levant is described as the eastern Mediterranean coastal region that consists of countries such as; Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and Palestine. All dishes at Mezza House are prepared to evoke the comfort of one's home, using only the finest ingredients and home-cooked style recipes. “While dining at Mezza House, I want my guests to experience the tastes and flavors of the Levant culture while at the same time trying combinations that you wouldn't normally find anywhere else,' says Nasser Zuhour. Not having changed the menu completely, popular options such as; Shish Tawook, Fattoush Salad and Sambousik are still available while also offering 3 daily dishes. However specialty mocktails have been given great attention in the new menu. Created by Mr G from Tonique Consultancy, the drinks consist of a unique combination of ingredients specifically to compliment the flavors in Mezza House dishes.
