Cosmopolitan Medical Centre marks World Diabetes Day

In order to stand for the significance of human life, the Cosmopolitan Medical Centre has announced that the clinic will observe the ‘World Diabetes Day' on November 14th. Diabetes is unfortunately running at record levels worldwide, and it is incredibly alarming to note that almost half of the world population is still undiagnosed.

We, at the Al Mamzar Cosmopolitan Medical Centre, will organize a free diabetes evaluation and treatment camp on the clinic premises from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM on Friday, the 15th of November, 2013.” –added Dr. V. According to the International Diabetes Federation, diabetes is a shattering global public health threat that currently has its hands on 366 million people. Apart from controlling blood sugar levels, the diabetics require close monitoring of the function of the heart, kidney, nerves and eyes at regular intervals. Cosmopolitan Medical Centre will be offering all the essential investigations required in diabetics viz lipid profile, HbA1C, blood, sugar, urea,  s.creatine, urinary albumin estimation, urinary albumin creatinine ratio and ECG at a discount of 50%.
