Applebee's Opens its First Restaurant in Sahara Centre in Sharjah

November 2013, Sharjah, UAE – Applebee's, the world's largest casual dining restaurant chain has officially opened its first outlet in Sahara Centre in Sharjah. Inaugurated by Mike Archer, President, Applebee's Services, Inc., and Applebee's International, Inc. as well as the representatives of Jananah Group, the franchisee for Applebee's in UAE, the restaurant chain now covers four emirates across the UAE. The outlet is centrally located in the second level of the new retail extpansion area of Sahara Centre. 

Building on the brands key principle of ‘neighbourhood experience', Applebee's at Sahara Centre will offer diners an  authentic affordable American casual dining experience. The restaurant also unveils the new look of Applebee's for the Middle East. Imbibing the local flavour, Applebee's interiors now represent a culturally rich canvas with the amalgamation of Middle East and American icons.

With Applebee's all of our restaurants are designed individually with a very local feel. There is definitely a touch of the local community but you will always know that you are in an Applebee's restaurant. Applebee's recently introduced its new Sizzling Sensations Menu across the Middle East. These sizzlers are a real treat for the senses and have something for every foodie. For the very first time Applebee's has introduced  Sizzling Lobster Au Gratin into its menu keeping in mind the flavour of the region.  Additionally  exciting new flavours, such as Sizzling Jumbo Shrimp, Sizzling Asian Shrimp Stir Fry and the always popular Mushroom Steak Skillet and Sizzling Chicken Fundido are also available.

The new Applebee's in Sahara Centre represents a significant increase in Applebee's presence, reflecting the brands growth across the region.  Currently Applebee's boasts five outlets within the UAE and is planning extensive expansions across the region.
