Dubai, UAE, October 28, 2013 – Every year, between the 8th to 12th day of Dhu al-Hijjah, more than three million Muslims make the journey to Mecca, Saudi Arabia for the Hajj, or pilgrimage. This year Instagram showed a magnificent number of ‘likes' by many different individuals who shared and captured the beautiful spiritual experience of Hajj.
Instagram helped the faithful follow Hajj in the Middle East by enabling Hajj hash-tags; thousands of Muslims around the world have shared their spiritual experience by capturing significant images and short videos of their journey to Mecca for this year's Hajj.
