Dubai, UAE, 9th October 2013: Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs, creates yet another platform for the development and empowerment of their children. They have organized a Bake Sale campaign, to create awareness and raise funds for the wide range of baked items prepared by the students as part of their vocational training programme. The bake sale campaign resumed in October 2013 at Our Own English High School, Rashidiya.

The Bake Sale aims to introduce one new baked item at each sale to provide a wider range to its customers and make scheduled visits to these schools on a regular ongoing basis.

Encouraged by the success in the year 2011, this year Al Noor has gone a step ahead and introduced a wider range of baked items which will be taken on a continuous basis to schools and universities in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The objective of the Bake Sale Campaign is to not only create awareness about their range of baked items but also to empower the students at the centre to give back to society.

The in-house bakery unit which adheres to Dubai Municipality Food Safety and Hygiene requirements is an integral part of the vocational training activities conducted at the centre and was launched in the year 2009. Having completed four years, the bakery unit has grown significantly and helped the children realize their potential skills. It also aims to further enhance their work skills and behaviour, which can be generalized in any work environment

The mission of the Bake Sale Campaign is to give the students an opportunity to give back to society. Therefore, the part proceeds from this campaign will be donated to charitable organisations in third world countries
