Thousands of Visitors Enjoy Free Opening Entry and a Wealth of Fun-Packed Activities

Dubai, 5 October, 2013: Global Village opened its doors on Saturday 5th October to welcome its first visitors for its 18th season with entrance free for the first day of the new season as the venue goes through its soft opening phase in the run-up to the Eid Al Adha Festival.

During this initial soft opening period more and more Pavilions will be opening to the public and the new look Fantasy Island funfair attraction will be open in the coming days ready for what is expected to be a record-breaking Eid season for Global Village and Dubai.

The thousands of visitors who have visited the Park already have been enjoying a wide range of cultural and entertainment facilities including a great array of special shows and attractions for children. All Global Village visitors received raffle draw coupon for Audi A4. Global Village management also distributed refreshments on the opening day. 

Global Village will have all of its Pavilions and attractions open to take its place in the Eid Al Adha Festival that will run from 10th to 19th October.  Extended opening hours will run from 4pm to 2am throughout the Eid season with hours extended to 3am on the first and second day of Eid.
