Khalifa Fund launches website for Abu Dhabi Forum on Entrepreneurship 2013

UAE, Abu Dhabi, 22nd September 2013: Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development has launched a website for the Abu Dhabi Entrepreneurship Forum 2013, as part of its efforts to motivate greater interaction and participation among entrepreneurs, investors, public and private sector institutions. The Abu Dhabi Forum on Entrepreneurship is the region's most prominent entrepreneurship platform bringing together influential business leaders and decision makers at the local, regional and global levels. It aims to stimulate innovative entrepreneurial ventures and nurture an environment where small and medium-sized companies can benefit from the experience and advice of successful businesspeople. 

Commenting on the launch, HE Abdullah Al Darmaki, CEO of Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development said: 'The launch of this site comes within the framework of the Khalifa Fund to use cutting edge technology to enhance our interaction with the audience. The site will be a gateway to valuable information in both Arabic and English. The user-friendly interface ensures quick and simple navigation, and users can register for free by filling their information. It will be an innovative tool for making nominations, gathering a database of entrepreneurs and participants in the forum.”

HE Al Darmaki added that the web pages include information about the forum, agenda,  programs, speakers, topics, workshops, sponsors and much more.

He pointed out that the site also contains a page on the special exhibition hosted annually by the Khalifa Fund for its members and beneficiaries, promoting its services and the projects it funds. Users will be able to access information relevant institutions and government agencies that can incubate and inspire SMEs to greater heights of excellence.

About Khalifa Fund

The Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development was created in June 2007 as an independent agency of the Government of Abu Dhabi, and has now amassed AED2 Billion in capital to fulfill the various requirements of entrepreneurs. The Fund has established a comprehensive program to expand entrepreneurs' business projects, in order to cultivate an appropriate business-enabling environment and to enhance the capabilities of potential entrepreneurs.
