Strategy Development and Governance Key Issues Discussed Dubai-UAE: 04 September, 2013 – Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA), the regulatory body for Dubai Silicon Oasis, the integrated free zone technology park, received a delegation from Fujairah Municipality as part of an initiative to exchange best practices on strategy development and governance. The meeting was held at DSOA's headquarters and included a presentation on the technology park's best practices in strategy development. The Authority's efforts to achieve excellence in governance were also highlighted. Ghanim Al Falasi, Senior VP Corporate Services at Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority, said: “The meeting with Fujairah Municipality confirms our commitment to sharing best practices with government and private sector enterprises in the UAE. Excellence can only be achieved and enhanced through constant sharing, observing and adopting best practices. It was a pleasure to have the Fujairah Municipality officials visit our premises and I am confident the thought-exchange session will generate significant benefits for the two organizations.' A wholly-owned entity of the Dubai Government, Dubai Silicon Oasis operates as a free zone technology park for the semiconductor, microelectronic and other high technology-based companies looking to set up their regional headquarters and research and development facilities in the Middle East and Africa region.
