Ramada Ajman announces internal promotions

Executive Chef and Environment Manager start new roles
  
Ajman, UAE (July 30, 2013) – Ramada Hotel & Suites Ajman, a premier destination for business and leisure travellers, is pleased to announce the promotion of Chef Mazen Khadour as Executive Chef and Faheem Yousaf as Environment Manager.

Chef Mazen started with the property in 2011 as Banquet Sous Chef and with his dedication and excellent performance has been promoted to Executive Sous Chef earlier this year. He has more than 11 years of hospitality experience and specialised in food productions and restaurant operations. In his new role, he will oversee all kitchen operations including the Orchid all day dining restaurant and R Cafe in addition to room service and special events. A Syrian national, Chef Mazen started his career in his native country and later move to Hungary and in the UAE.

Faheem, a Pakistani national was promoted to Environment Manager because of his keen interest and excellent supervision of the hotel's Zero Landfill Project. Prior to this role, he was Chief Steward of Ramada Ajman. With 13 years of experience, his career started in his native country where he worked as a kitchen steward at Avari Hotel to become Assistant Chief Steward. He moved to Dubai in 2004 and worked in several properties in Abu Dhabi and Dubai before transferring to Ajman. In his new role, he will coordinate all aspects of the project including resource use, risk assessment and employee involvement regarding the hotel's environmental initiatives.
