Dubai, United Arab Emirates – Tefal, one of the industry leaders in small domestic appliances, has announced the launch of a special edition of its Actifry range for the Holy Month of Ramadan, which will include a new ‘snack grid' accessory. As Shonila Misra, Marketing Director of Tefal's parent company, Groupe SEB Middle East and Africa explained, Tefal's Actifry range, produced in France, places a particular emphasis on healthy food especially during Ramadan which is a peak season for food preparation in the Middle East. “The design of the Actifry range allows you to use only one spoon of oil for one kilogram of fresh food, and no oil for frozen products,” said Misra. “Our 1kg capacity of Actifry with the snack grid is an important part of the range – particularly in the Middle East where it is designed for the average family size and where sitting down altogether for a meal is an important part of the culture – no more so than during the Holy Month of Ramadan.” The health benefits of the Tefal Actifry range have been verified by independent laboratories, and the findings outlined in a monograph, available for health professionals. Moreover, Actifry with the snack grid comes along with a recipe book giving everyone the ease to cook various, delectable and healthy food.
