United Arab Emirates, Dubai, July 22, 2013: To support the Ramadan initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to dress one million underprivileged children around the world, the Dubai Health Authority has set up 20 donation booths across its hospitals and health centres, said a top DHA official. HE Eng Essa Al Maidoor, Director General of the DHA said: “HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is known for his philanthropy and humanitarian initiatives. Every Ramadan His Highness launches a campaign to reach out to the underprivileged people in the world. The DHA is proud to support this campaign which has received an outstanding response from the people of the UAE.” He said the 20 donation booths have been set up across all DHA hospitals and primary healthcare centres for staff members and visitors to donate towards this cause Al Maidoor said the campaign will take place until the 19th day of Ramadan which is known as Emirati Humanitarian Day, in memory of the founding father of the UAE Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan
