Authentic Brazilian Food Experience and ‘Meat Lovers' Paradise' Opening in Crowne Plaza on Sheikh Zayed Road Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 7th July 2013 – Chamas Churrascaria and Bar is launching this summer in the heart of Dubai at Crowne Plaza, Sheikh Zayed Road, bringing diners authentic Brazilian cuisine and flair. Diners can expect a traditional Churrascaria atmosphere with an open cooking kitchen featuring 18 different kinds of meat skewers including chicken, steak and lamb. The meats are marinated and then barbequed on the grill before being skewered and ‘Passadores' - traditional meat waiters - come to the table to serve. “Chamas will be an exciting addition to Dubai's dining scene and sure to be a hit among meat lovers! Our open live cooking is a great way for guests to see the whole cooking process from start to finish. We believe that the restaurant's unique touches, traditional food and live band will create a venue that people will want to visit for a truly authentic Brazilian experience,” said by James Young, General Manager at Crowne Plaza Dubai. Chamas translated from Portuguese means flames and the theme will run throughout the restaurant with open live cooking and warm lighting and interior. Alongside the restaurant there is an intimate bar area seating which comprises of dark brown sofas and high mahogany tables and chairs. Chamas is also providing traditional Brazilian entertainment with a four person band that will be playing six nights a week. The restaurant will be open Sunday – Saturday for lunch and dinner between 12pm to 3pm and 6pm to 12 midnight.
