Dubai, July 7, 2013: Arabian Center, one of the most prestigious shopping malls in UAE, celebrates the Holy Month of Ramadan with ‘Donate Your Clothes' campaign. The mall will also tie up with Red Crescent for a charity drive. In the ‘Donate Your Clothes' campaign, Arabian Center urges people to come forward and donate whatever they can, like clothes, in the 3 acrylic boxes that will be placed at the three mall entrances – Morning Court, Noon Court and Night Court entrances. Towards the end of the Ramadan period, all the collection will be donated to the needy and the less fortunate people. Arabian Center wants to help and reach out to the less fortunate people; therefore, the mall has tied up with Red Crescent Society so that they can contribute to the best of their capacity during this holy month of Ramadan. There will be a booth placed in the Night Court of the Mall which will be manned by the members of the Red Crescent Society for customers to donate money in the form of food, clothing, orphanage, etc. Available at the booth are various coupons, and depending on the donors preference they can help the needy by paying for those coupons. Arabian Center has also joined hands with DP World in conjunction with Dubai Health Authority which will provide mobile vans outside the mall for people to donate blood. The blood donated at this camp will be sent to Blood Donation Centers in Dubai. The blood donation camp will take place between 8.30pm to 12.30am. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Tim Jones, COO, Arabian Center said, “We take extreme pleasure in announcing the celebration of the Holy Month of Ramadan at Arabian Center. Ramadan is considered as a month of giving, therefore, we request people to come forward and participate in the donation program at the Mall. We will be running Donate Your Clothes campaign for a month and have also tied up with Red Crescent Society to help the needy and the poor. We are hoping to receive an extra-ordinary response from the residents of Dubai towards our contribution to the less fortunate ones.” For more information, please call 04-2845555 or visit: www.arabiancenter.com.
