Dubai, 7 July 2013 – In more than 70 countries around the world, the GolinHarris employees are giving back to their communities in conjunction with the “Al Golin Day”, celebrating the birthday of the Founder, Al Golin. Conducted around the world very recently, GolinHarris employees from around the world volunteered towards a community initiative in line with this day in order to make a difference.

In partnership with hundreds of non-profit organizations worldwide, GolinHarris volunteered at several different events across the globe, including blood donation drives, donation of clothing packages and many other leading activities that supported the community as a whole.

In Dubai, the GolinHarris employees set out support the local community by painting the walls of Manzil Special Needs School in Sharjah in the company's corporate G4 colors and spent quality time with the children of this school.

Commenting on the visit, Dr Ayesha Husaini, Director Manzil said “It was wonderful to have the spirited volunteers from GolinHarris come and bring colour into our lives. The students were delighted - as was the staff - to see the brightly painted walls in the playground. We hope this relationship blossoms even further in the years to come!”

According to Yiannis Vafaes, Managing Director, UAE, “Giving back to the community is a key part of the GolinHarris culture and mission. Our aim is to be seen as a multinational company with a local heart. “Al's Day”, which is celebrated globally, is an ideal opportunity for us to make a difference and give back to the communities in which we live and work.  Celebrating our founder's birthday, GolinHarris employees around the world volunteered on projects that supported people and the environment, thus building a healthier environment and a stronger community.”
