Abu Dhabi Residency Department & Masdar City to Enhance Cooperation

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates – July 2, 2013 [ME NewsWire]: In a meeting recently held at the General Directorate of Residence and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi, Colonel Salem Ali Al Qattam Al Zaabi, Abu Dhabi Residency and Foreigners Affairs Director General discussed with a delegation from Masdar city for renewable energy, ways to enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest between the two parties.

The Masdar City delegation was headed by Mr. Ahmed Mohammed Baghoum, Director of the Free Zone Authority at Masdar City.

The visit is part of the strategic goals of the Ministry and the Naturalization, Residency and Ports sector. It aims to develop work with partners and to bolster internal and external partnerships to achieve public interest.

 Colonel Al Zaabi welcomed the delegation members and gave them an overview of the ways to achieve the coveted strategic objectives designed to enable seamless action to supportbusiness developmental efforts in the State.  Moreover, a number of topics of mutual interest, and ways to enhance cooperation and coordination in the interest of both sides were discussed during the meeting.

Present at the meeting were Colonel Youssef Khoury, Deputy Director General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, a number of officers from the department, along with members of the Masdar City delegation.
